Weight gain, pregnancy, adolescence or any reason that causes your body skin to stretch beyond its limits can cause stretch marks. Weight gain and loss can happen because of any reasons but the moment you skin’s elasticity level is crossed it is not going to bounce back on its own. You must do something to get rid of those ugly stretch marks. Since formation of stretch marks is a natural process there must be some natural way to get rid of them. How to naturally get rid of stretch marks is what we’ll try to find out. As stretch marks appear on those places that have a lot of fat, we must start taking some precaution before Stretch Mark Cream start forming. During pregnancy, from second trimester onwards you can start massaging your abdomen with different types of oils so that collagen production is sufficient enough to take the extra load in the coming weeks. Moreover you can also take dietary supplement that are beneficial for skin’s elasticity. Massaging with cocoa butter reduces the chances of stretch marks to a great extent. If you can manage to spend a few minutes of massage every day, pregnancy will cause very few or no stretch marks at all. Start eating food rich in vitamin A, B, C and E If you already past pregnancy phase and have already delivered your baby, you can try applying vitamin E directly on the Stretch Marks . You can just break open a Vitamin E capsule and apply it on the stretch marks regularly. If your Stretch Marks are new make sure that you wear a sunscreen whenever you go out in sun. Sunlight is the enemy of stretch marks therefore darkens them very quickly. Eat food that is rich in zinc like nuts, berries etc. Zinc keeps the skin healthy. Also do not forget to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water. Stretch marks creams made of natural herbs are also effective in getting rid of them. Just try and see if it works. New Shoei RF-1100 and X-Twelve helmets

Shoei pulls out all the stops for its latest generation lids

Shoei's mid-line RF-1000 model has been the company's best-selling helmet since its inception back in '03, and for good reason. When you combine excellent function with superb quality at a reasonable price, the sales will come. And its top-of-the-line X-Eleven racing helmet has been one of the leaders in performance and innovation, with superb ventilation and aerodynamics that have spawned copies ever since. So it would be logical to expect that the RF-1000's and X-Eleven's successors would be a sensible evolution of their solid and refined designs. Why mess with success?

The new RF-1100 and X-Twelve, however, are literally all-new from the ground up. Utilizing data gleaned from the company's new state-of-the-art wind tunnel as well as input from dealers and customers, both helmets bristle with new features that definitely set them apart from their predecessors.

BMW has been making motorcycles since 1923. However they have always made practical bikes with rather unusual engines. This appealed to a different sort of rider than the sport bikes that the Big Four have been making. However BMW has been edging closer and closer to the sport bike community in recent years. Well for 2009 BMW decided to plunge head first into the 1000cc inline four super bike market.
When I say headfirst I really mean it. That is the only way to go if you want to nab a chunk of the ultra competitive super bike market. BMW must have know that if you want to make a bike that will compete with the Big Four it has to be at least as good and even a little better. Even a slight advantage for one bike over the other the primarily Japanese sport bikes is actually a huge difference. These bikes are really on the edge of technology and streetability.
BMW didn’t disappoint when they released the S1000RR. Every specification listed is astounding when compared with the Japanese competitors. Light as a feather and more power than a Hayabusa all in a frame designed to tear a track to pieces( or scare you to death on the street). BMW also equipped the S1000RR with ABS and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) so you can use all the power that this monster puts out. BMW has designed this bike with the latest technology to make its rideability match its power output.
I have personally seen this bike at two separate events and it looks mean, and surprisingly small. One detail that I didn’t like is the headlights. One is small and round while the other is large and angular. This gives it the looks of somebody squinting after just being punched in the eye… not the most aggressive looking design to say the least. But it probably won’t matter because people will only be able to see you for a second anyway. The new BMW is even priced competitively so I think we will start seeing quite a few of these on the roads. It might even make the engineers over in Japan rethink the way they do things. The S1000RR makes a statement in a big way. It seems like it may be a literbike that’s in a class of its own, and that’s saying something.

Every year in Modesto California there is an amateur stunt show set up in the streets. This was 5th year and the city shut down 4 blocks in the middle of downtown Modesto! There was a stunt show and competition along with a whole lot of vendor booths. They even had the new BMW S1000RR superbike! Best of all is that admission is free!
This years show was totally insane. I was expecting to see a good show but these Northern California stunters really know how to entertain a crowd. The show was an amateur competition but the stunt crews that showed up at this event were real professionals. These riders were doing every stunt in the book and a few that aren’t. They were doing every type of wheelie, stoppies, rolling burnouts and some close quarters drifting that hardly seemed possible. If you want to see what I mean then check out my pictures and videos of the event.
Anyway it was great to see such a huge turnout to a local motorcycle event. Everyone was having a good time. I even spoke to some of the police officers there and they were excited to be there and watch the stunters, as long as they were not out on the public streets! If you ride or even just want see a good show then support your local stunt and motorcycle events.

For the 4th of July weekend I had the amazing opportunity to go to the 2009 Moto GP event at Laguna Seca with my fellow employees from Ride Gear. Let me first say that this was definitely an event and not just a race. I arrived on Saturday and immediately set out for the track but it took me quite a long time to get there. There were so many things to see for anyone who has even the slightest interest in motorcycles. Since my interest is a little more than slight I spent the first few hours wandering around and soaking in as much of the motorcycle atmosphere that I could. Every major manufacturer had their own tents displaying their latest models of bikes and a few customs or concept bikes. Some of the interesting bikes on display were the BMW S1000RR superbike and the Ducati Desmosedici. The idea of a true BMW sportbike is exciting enough but actually seeing the S1000RR had everyone circled around it and drooling just a little. When we got to the Ducati tent my eyes locked on the Desmosedici immediately. The Ducati is the closest thing to a Moto GP bike that you can put a license plate on and is one of the most beautiful bikes I have seen. Do all Italians have some sort of innate ability to blend monstrous power and striking elegance into perfectly engineered street vehicles? If so, then the Italians know it and that is why the Desmosedici will set you back around 75 thousand dollars. A bargain if you consider the cost of an actual Moto GP bike. After I wrenched myself away from the Ducati tent we were making our way towards the track once again when we heard the squeal of tires and the unmistakable sweet stink of burning rubber. No motorcycle event is complete without a stunt show. The riders were showing incredible skill doing rolling burnouts, wheelies, and stoppies. As is often the case at northern California stunt shows, Jason Pullen was stealing the show stunting a Harley Sportster! Once you get over the fact that he is doing incredible stunts on 500 plus pound Harley you are again amazed at the actual level of control he has over his bike. After the stunt show we finally made it to the track to catch the last bit of some AMA 600 class qualifying.
Saturday night tens of thousand of Moto GP fans have to go somewhere and a lot of them ended up on Monterey’s famous Cannery Row. The streets were lined with bikes and filled with people. Every type of bike you can imagine was represented here. There was tricked out sport bikes and customs Harleys and Metrics. There was even a fare number of vintage bikes, like a nice looking 6 cylinder Honda CBX. We even met some people all the way from Oklahoma on the all new Yamaha V-Max. It’s amazing what you see when that many motorcyclists assemble.
Sunday was the main event and it started at 2 P.M. We headed out to the Parts Unlimited tent which was situated right on turn 5. This was exciting because turn 5 is at the end of a long straight and is a high speed turn. Wipeouts are common. In the beginning Dani Pedrosa took the lead and put a good amount of distance between him and the other riders. When the bikes were about a mile away from us you could hear them coming. As they passed us the sound became a roar that was both terrible and awesome. You can tell immediately that these bikes are purpose built to go as fast as possible and the sound is truly impressive. As the riders go into turn 5 they brake hard and then fall in, it literally looks like their entire bodies are on the ground. As they reach the ape of the turn the bikes stand up and it seems as if they are shot from a massive slingshot as they tear down the straight away. They accelerate so fast that it is actually hard for your eyes and your head to keep track of them. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of swiveling my neck did that day. Moto GP is impressive when you watch it on TV but when you are actually there is awe inspiring. The amount of skill these riders must have hardly seems possible once you witness the ridiculous speeds they achieve on the track. Then you realize that they have to keep up this level of intensity for over 40 minutes on the 32 lap race. In the end, despite Monterey County declaring July 5th “Rossi Day” the Doctor was not able to overtake Pedrosa. However he nearly overtook Pedrosa at then end after closing a large gap and almost crashing while trying to pass Pedrosa. All in all it was an exciting end to the 2009 Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
Watching a Moto GP race is something that no motorcycle enthusiast should go without seeing. You will never really be able to appreciate it until you see it with your own eyes. Since they only come to the States one time a year, we at Ride Gear hope to see you there in 2010. For those of you that did not make it this year you can view some pictures and videos on my community page. We hope to see you out there on the road. Take care and ride safe!

See ya, Can "xyx36"
Went to a Kawasaki Dealership just out of couriousity and looked at the ZX-6R just to look and get a feel for them I love the look and its so light compared to my Honda the one down fall was that the handle bars are to far in which I didnt like if I was a knee dragger I think I would love this bike. I am looking to purchasing an extra bike so that I can invite someone to ride with me because it gets a little boring once and awhile by yourself. I seen a 08 ZX-10R for $8k and It was also lighter then my Honda and it looked so stealthy. I almost wanted to buy it but I have to be patient dont want to get over my head right now but damn I was awesome. What do you think if I was so purchase one of these? I think I should just go big or go home!!!
So almost two years ago a lady decided to turn into my lane while I was still in it and caused me to either run into on coming traffic or lay my bike down. So I went a head a laid my bike down doing somewhere about 40-50 came right down on my right knee. Ive had to go to physical therapy for a year before the did any surgery to see if my knee cap would resettle itself in it proper place, it didnt go so well. I had surgery in November to release tendons to loosen them up so the pressure wouldnt move my knee cap out again. I had physical therapy again for 3 months and no good. I have to wear a stupid brace now to keep my knee cap in place. I am so fustrated because this lady is at home chilling without a worry in her mind and I am here life changed forever. I am modifing my bike so it has loader pipe and now ordering from ICON knee protectors. So I guess all on all be safe my brothers and sister watch out for those idiots that think just because they have a bigger vehicle they own the road.
I went riding this morning before it got hot and it was just amazing how open the highway was I-8 was so empty I went ahead and took advantage of it it cruised somewhere around 110 for about 15 minutes but got it up around 140 just seems that I start to chicken out once I hit 140
